Wheel of God

Debut Album

Wheels

A wheel in the middle of a wheel — Ezekiel 1:16

The Vision

900-year-old saints singing
through synthesizers

Ophanael is electronic music built on ancient foundations. Named for the Ophanim — the many-eyed wheels of fire from Ezekiel's vision — Wheel of God is the sound of sacred geometry set to a pulse. Two synthesizers. One voice. Samples drawn from 12th-century Benedictine hymns and traditional spirituals. The space between a cathedral and a dance floor.

Debut Album

Wheels

Ten tracks. One rotation. The album begins in darkness, finds the light, loses it, fights for it, surrenders to it, and returns to the beginning. Play it on repeat and it never ends. The wheel turns.

The wheel doesn't stop. You find the light and you lose it and you kneel in the dark and the wheel still turns. the light comes back. you lose it again and you kneel again and you rise again. Again. Again. Again.

Purpose isn't a destination. It's a rotation.
